From Estonian quarries to your climbing wall.
The MSon story began with the idea of bringing more natural climbing holds into climbing gyms. This gives climbers more options and helps create a welcoming environment.
The MSon story began in a home workshop, where my very first wooden climbing holds were made. Gradually refining my skills and listening to the encouraging feedback from fellow climbers, what started as a personal hobby grew into a desire to share that authentic feeling with others.
The Craft
Every granite hold starts as a raw block selected for its grain, density, and texture. Our artisans cut, grind, and sand each piece until it offers the perfect balance of friction and comfort. Depending on the shape of the wooden hold, we treat the wood with a wood preservative while preserving the natural properties of the wood at the contact area, leaving the natural beauty of the wood visible.
